So here we are at the end of the last day of this Travelogue. Not much on today, I am afraid. Just wandering around Vancouver and then off to the airport.

Here we see a typical downtown Vancouver back alley. Many people who have seen the back-alleys in Vancouver comment on how it looks like something out of the movies. This is a good observation since many movies shoot in Vancouver's back-alleys.

This particular back-alley is not really from a movie, but what I like about it is the clever and simple anti-homeless people device that is contained in the wall at the right. It is labelled "Automatic Cleaning System" and what it consists of is a pair of sprinklers (in protective cages) that go off randomly all day and night, thus soaking everything below them, including any homeless people that might choose to hang around there.

I love the elegance of this system and believe that such devices should be installed all over the entire city to keep the annoying homeless people away.

Wandering a bit further downtown we see a giant female M&M who has been participating in today's run for cancer.

Jugo Juice is my favourite juice.... Mango Magic.

I believe that this is the Rocky Mountain Chocolate company.

Underneath Robson Square some dancers take advantage of the nice weather and practise their routines.

A close-up of the dancers going through their moves.

A view of that building that is supposed to look like a cruise ship smokestack.

A view of the Vancouver Art Gallery and Hotel Vancouver in the distance.

Some weird bird statue.

An authentic Asian-Scottish bagpiper.

This is a map that Landon gave to his girlfriend's mother when she visited Vancouver. He highlighted the "Needletown" section of downtown saying to avoid that part if possible.

See? I told you this was just random things today.

Ok. Fast forward to the airport. Checked in and waiting to go board.

The last meal in Canada. I choose Greek food from the airport foodcourt.

At the left is the KLM plane that will take us back to Amsterdam.

And so another trip comes to an end. The plane takes off and circles out to the North and home to Europe.

The Vancouver Airport is at the top right.

The plane circles over the University of British Columbia.

Stanley Park and downtown in the distance.

And with this cool picture of a KLM wing over the Sunshine Coast mountains, with Vancouver and the rising moon in the distance, I bring this Travelogue to an end.

Yah, that's it. What else is there to say?
